How to disable door ajar light?

Give-and-take in 'Gen 2 Prius Care, Maintenance and Troubleshooting' started by themadbluebird, Mar iv, 2019.

    I accept a 2007 Prius with 185,000 miles. The back door handle is getting kind of janky and sometimes it doesn't close quite difficult plenty to tell the car that the door is airtight, thus leaving the "DOOR AJAR" light on. This isn't an issue except that it drains the 9V bombardment, especially if I'grand out of boondocks for a while.

    Is in that location any way I can disable the "DOOR AJAR" calorie-free on the dash to foreclose the 9V battery from draining?

    probably have to detect the connectors in the hatch and wire them together. doesn't the dome light stay on as well?

    I leave the dome lite permanently off for the aforementioned reason. Thanks for the response--I'll run across if I can permanently connect them.
